  • Throttle issues

I have twin 2001 200 Suzukis on the back of a 30' center console v hull. When throttling the engines up and you reach 3/4 throttle the engines bog down and there is no more throttle responce. Sometimes the engines will be running fine and then not seem to have enough power to get the boat up on plane. I've heard everything from cable adjustment to injectors clogged to vapor lock (clogged vent line?). Where should I start? Thanks!

Run a compression and leak down test on cylinders, test fuel pressure, check for spark on all cylinders when running with a timing light.

Thanks for the response. One more thing I didn't mention the engines don't like to idle. They tend to shut off if at idle to long.
