DF70 No spark

Hello from Denmark.

Has a DF70 from 1999.
Suddenly it runs bad then good then bad .......
It also stopped charging battery but that came after the first problems.
Took it to a dealer, and he called me today; Your ECU is bad.
Has tested everything, but no spark on upper and lower sparkplugs.
Coils and sensors are fine he says, so You need a new ECU $$$$

How can he say that for 100% ?

Other suggestions ?

Yes it's possible, ECU is main component of ignition system and all sensors test good and ignition coils are good(ignition does fire two cylinders and if the two that are not firing are from same coil then swap coils to see if coil is good) then peobably needs ECU.
