DF250 oil filter

I have a 2010 DF250 and they is no oil filter on suzuki dealer?
But they said that I can put on it a DF150 oil filter
Please can I do that

Yep, oil filters are same for DF150 through DF300. Part number 16510-96J00.

I believe they have a new part design for the df 300 oil filter. There have been problems with oil filter failure due to high presure beyond what filter is designed to withstand causing a rupture. I have seen this twice on 2 different df 300s.

and what about DF115 oil filter for DF250
The dealer said it will fit too

DF115 filter has a different number, 16510-61A20-MHL
I doubt that it would fit. And I cannot imagine that the DF300 would burst a filter, unless it was a bad manufacturing run on the filters. In any case I can't find any different number filter for the DF300. All I find is what I had posted previously for DF150-DF300

These is the Part number 16510-90J00 I see on this filter and the tread diameter is 3/4, it look like very much the same
