  • Engine lifting

I own a 2008 DF150hp Suzuki. I want to raise the engine one hole. Is there a threaded lifting hole for an eye bolt on the motor? If so what thread size? If not, can you put a nylon rigging strap around the underside of the cowling and lift it? I'm thinking not ,but?? The boat is still in storage so I'm unable to take the hood off and look myself.
    Thanks for any help!

It should have a lifting bracket on top of engine.

Do a search on ausfishdotcomdotau on raising a motor. No need for cranes or anything just loosen or remove nec bolts and use the jockey wheel on the trailer with your motor fully down onto a timber block or similar. When it lines up to the next hole re tighten but remember to seal the holes.
