Dt 65 won't plane

I have a dt65 suzuki and having problems getting it on a plane. I have rebuilt all carbs and replaced the fuel pump. I put the boat in the water (still attached to the trailer), started eng, put in gear, and disconnected the linkage from cable . While the engine is still running, i slowly move the linkage attached to the carbs . The engine goes up in rpm to about half way, then the engine dies. Put the motorback into neutral, restart the engine, put in gear and move the carb linkage manually. Every time i reach the mid range speed, the motor shuts off. I need help. Any ideas of what migh be problem .

Can you tell us what was going on when the problem first occurred, any changes or adjustments?

At what RPM does the problem occur, does it start misfiring like it's starved for fuel or just shuts down like turning off the ignition? Does it restart immediately?
