How strong is the tell tale supposed to be on this engine, it is open and water is coming out, just not a strong spray (running muffs), thanks

If you run it in salt water you get a Crystal build up in the tell tail, just get a knife and prize off the end and clean out the hole should say the telltale is only an indication the overheat alarmwwill go if it's a problem.

This unit has never been in salt water. I've cleaned and blown all the hoses and exit fitting, with water and air. Pulled the thermostat and pressure relief valve on the bottom of the power head, all are clean and flowing. And It's not overheating. It's not a strong stream, that is the question, How strong is it supposed to be?? Thanks
