Df90 cut out and wouldn't start

Hello,

Yesterday my 2006 df90 cut out when I was doing about 4500 rpm and I couldn't start it again. I noticed that the bulb wasn't under any pressure and pumped it a few times, after which the engine ran fine.

I had a mechanic look at it in the harbour and he couldn't find any cause. It has been running fine since, but it was a pretty dicey situation for a while and worrying.

Anyone had any similar issues and any idea what may be the cause?

I guess a simple kink in the fuel line would cause the primer to go soft, a blockage in the tank vent will do the same, do you have a fuel filter? if so, change it.
