DT85 Gear casing compatibility

Hi,

Does anyone know which lower unit gear casings are compatible for a 1981 Suzuki DT85.

I am led to believe some of the lower units are compatible from later outboards of differenct CC's. My present one requires some welding but just checking all the options.

If anyone knows of one available, would also help.

i use to have a 1982 dt85 which had a bad topend so i brought a newer 1992 top that needed a gearbox.
my 1982 box fitted on the newer outboard with no problems so i assume it will work the other way round, i hope this has helped
