  • Oil gas mix

I am installing my new to me 2007 Suzuki 90. The motor will replace an old Evinrude 115. The fuel in my tank is a 32 to 1 oil gas mix. I was thinking I would top off the tank with just gas and run the oil mix though. Will this screw up my motor?

first there are better moderators on this site..
    I can only assume the 90 is a 4-stroke..
    my only advise is DON'T
use the old gas/oil in a yard blower or some such or give it to someone else with a 2 stroke

I have seen other forums (including a few dealers) that say it is ok to do it and that they do it often. They say a little extra lube doesn't hurt the cylinders. I would probably do it if I had less than 1/2 tank of mixed, then top it off.
