Oil level sensor DT100
seems after 3-4 years the rubber on the plug goes bad and the unit
leaks oil when tilted.
Got it again this week when launched and tilted up first time in over a year.
Went to order a replacement and everyplace is B/O
Saying at least 8 weeks.
Well hate to keep engine down in SW for 8 weeks.
Is ordered but in the meantime any ideas.
a sealent, thought of wrapping with teflon tape, or pulling unit and using some type of drain or transom plug to close the opening.
Not sure what the diameter is and don't want to ruin the tank.
