DF 70 will not idle

My 2005 DF70 will not idle when I back the throttle all of the way down. I can keep it idling at about 700-800rpms using the throttle. It is particularly irritating because everytime I try to slow down to dock the motor dies. I can restart it but I must immediately use the throttle to idle it up.

May be a problem with idle control valve, might try removing and cleaning it.

I'm having the exact same problem on the same engine. I agree the IAC valve is the first step. Do you have any codes being thrown at you?

DF70 will not idle

I have the same problem on my 2003 model,I have tried changing the both filters with no luck.Could you tell me where the idle control valve is situated so I can try that before changing the fuel pump.
