  • 1987 DT 115 Cooling issues

My engine is not spitting out water. I have replaced the impeller kit, thermostat, blown out all passages, the ones I can access. I can run water from the low water alarm and it runs down through the lower unit and out the side. When I try to spray water from below, it doesn't reach the upper part of the block. I am thinking this is a poppet valve issue. Any thoughts?
    Thanks!

Is your motor actually overheating, or is it just not showing at the tell tale?

It overheated last year and I replaced the low water sensor, it melted some. That's when I also replaced the thermostat. But while I am running it at the house it is not picking up any water from the impeller. All 4 cylinders have around 150 compression and the plugs looked like no water had been on them. It will start and run just fine, just no water getting itno the heads, I think.
