  • Problems with engine trim adjustment and adjust fuel consumption

I connected the nmea 2000 network the following devices:
SUZUKI : Software- 2.7.0MR114R (Interface Engine)
    EP65R : " - 2.1.0LL191R (Sensor Level Fuel)
    LMF200 : - 2.2.0RZ543 (SMIS 2" )
    Furuno MFD 12 " NavNet3D (Display Multifunción)

The SMIS 2 " display I see a high consumption in : USD: Tp ( Trip Fuel Use ) USD: S ( Seasonal Fuel Use ) in USD (Fuel Used ) is not stable. .

With the Trim Engine I am unable to adjust as per the manual . When this falls below zero percent mark but when I lift the outboard twenty percent but SMIS hundred percent mark .

Not if it may be due to version software interface engine ?

If the problem is software. Someone can tell me how can I update it?

    thanks

    Josč Antonio

    Hi Jose!

What horsepower and year Suzuki engine is your network connected to?

The problem you have outlined with fuel consumption readings is typical of when interfaces with Version 2.7 software are connected to Suzuki engines earlier than 2013 year.

The solution is to change the software to version 2.5.0.

I can send that software to you. Apart from sending the cable back to your dealer to re-program it with the correct software, there are 2 ways to install the 2.5.0 software yourself. I can send you details and the software file if you email me at:

    Cheers
