Hot Restart Problem

I have a 2006 Suzuki 30 HP four stroke. When cold it starts and idles well but after a run it for a wile it will not restart. The only way I can get the engine to fire is with choke on but cannot get the choke off and get it into drive without the engine dying. I have had the engine checked and the carbs cleaned.

Try idling engine for a couple minutes before shutting off to see if helps. If helps then it's a heat soak type of problem.

I have the same problem..when i leave the dock the motors runs ok...after i have ran a mile or two and shut the engine off..i have a hard time starting it..when i get it started again...i have to keep the rpms up, then put it in gear and take of kinda fast...last week when i got back to the dock i couldn't keep it running long enough to get it on the trailer. Got home hooked the hose to it and it will sit there and run forever. Im taking mine to my mechanic next week...Will let you know..If you find a solution let me know..Thanks
