I have an 07 115 4 stroke. Pulled up at the launch Saturday & the oil light & buzzer went off. Got home & checked the oil to realize it was low. Changed oil & filter but it will not turn more than 3800rpms. Is there a way to reset this or do I have to take it to the dealer to get it reset??

you sure that it is 3800 rpm as fail safe is set at 3000 rpm.. so may be something else is wrong you can turn the key on and pull and release the emergency stop lanyard 3 times in 10 sec
was engine in gear when it would not rev ? about how many hours do you have on it as it has a 20 hour and 100 service warning as well -
Motor has 110hrs. I did the reset with the lanyard 3 times in 10 sec. after changing the oil & filter. When it first started it would not go above 3000 rpms. Now that i have reset the lanyard, it now goes to about 4000 rpms then shuts it down again with an oil light & constant buzzer until I put it in neutral.Comment

Its not flashing...just constant on when the buzzer sounds.Comment

is the battery fully charged and all battery leads tight ?
if they are you better take that to a suzzy dealer and connect sdsComment
