Assuming your Simrad has the NMEA 2000 inputs and can be hooked up to the NMEA 2000 backbone, it will work. NMEA 2000 is a standard format for data stream information so that all NMEA 2000 equipped apparatus can communicate with each other and will interpret the information in the same way. You'll need the Suzuki engine interface of course, and a powered NMEA 2000 backbone (the central cabling system). I am not sure, however, if you will be able to calibrate the readings such as fuel flow or engine trim. I do know that the Garmin instruments have no means of calibrating such readings.
