  • warning alarm after initial buzzer

I have a df225 04 suzuki 4stroke. When i put the key in the ignition, turn the key to power on the engine but not start it (the engine has its normal 3ish second beep) the problem is after about 10 seconds the engine beeps twice after that and continues to do so until I finally start the engine...

Anyone have had this happen before?

Dose that mean it's time for maintenence? Low voltage? Error code? I can't figure it out or find it in the engine manual and my engine seems to run fine

    Any help is appreciated, thanks

Sounds like the oil change reminder
Depending on your gauges you may get the "oil" lamp to flash and the buzzer begin a series of double beeps. With key on but engine not running
So if you changed oil and did not reset oil reminder this is why you are getting this warning
To clear. Turn key on; pull out the emergency stop switch plate; pull out the small red emergency stop knob three times within ten seconds ; should hear a short beep that tells you were successful; turn key off; replace stop switch plate

If you have not changed oil you should do so before canceling alarm
