Suzuki DF40

Hi I am new to this site and am considering purchasing a new df40 for my avon 4m rib.

My questions are

Would this be a suitable outboard for my boat
Are there any known reliability issues with this model
How easy would it be to fit it myself. It will be replacing a Mariner 30efi from 2007. Can anyone link me to an online installation manual?

I just upgraded my old df40 due to corrosion issues for a 2014 Nissan 40hp four stroke and I think you should definitely look at the Tohatsu or Nissan NFS40 (same motor from same company just different sticker on the cover), IMO its a much better motor, faster, cheaper priced, and over 30 lbs lighter weight.

if you get it, match it with the Yamaha painted black ss prop for the best top end speed

the df40 is a great motor but I like the tohatsu nfs40 much better and it took 30lbs of extra weight off the transome
