  • Flow from P hole on 115 4stroke/2004

Just a quick question, when starting the boat on the trailer with the water hooked up on the lower unit, the p hole is running fine. As it gets warmer, 10 minutes of idle, the flow slows down. When the thermostat opens, does it decrease the flow to the P hole? If not, could it be the water pump or thermostat? The water coming out of the prop is around 100 degress F, not real hot. Thanks for any clarification. Steve

I believe it does when motor is not in use on water. My thermostat was stuck open. It didn't have much stream to it. I replaced with new thermostat and it will pee 10ft. After it runs on ears for awhile it does slow down. When out on the water it does fine. Hope that helps.
