115hp- Buzzer after idling

I have a 2001 115hp 4 stroke, great motor, still learning it's tricks though.

After 2-3 minutes at idle the rpms drop from 1250 to 1000 and an alarm sounds (two beeps within 2 seconds, repeated after a 3-4 second pause).

Does not 'buzz' any other time. Oil level and light are fine and water is streaming out of the back (all good). I've reset the (lanyard) button several times also.

Seloc manual does not list this issue (or at least I can't find it in the book)

Its a four stroke. To update I noticed that specifically there will be a short beep every 2-3 seconds.

Talked to a local repair shop....they didn't know what was wrong and wanted to run a diagnostic on it.

Might be worth the cost.

turn the key on and watch the flashes and let us know the numbers
