  • Getting gauge to work

I recently replaced my old df225 with a new df250. Started it today for the first time and everything is good except the fact my smart gauge only reads fuel level now it doesn't read rpm, fuel burn etc... It is seeming to baffle my dealer. Anybody point me in the right direction?

More information required please so we can assist.

Exactly what gauge do you have? is it the Suzuki SMIS 4" round one?

If so, Has the dealer connected it via the NMEA 2000 network and configured it properly?

Also, has the dealer changed the wiring harness connection under the cowl so that it's plugged into the SDS port instead of the normal analogue connector, this is required so that digital NMEA2000 data gets sent thru the harness to the dash. We just had another member with non-responsive SMIS gauge on the dash and that was the problem. Look down the page a bit for the SMiS thread and you will see it.
