I have a 2005 DF140 , my question is , how warm should the water be that is discharging from the tattletail on motor ? It has a good stream and once the motor has been running a while , the water gets pretty warm. No alarms or anything, just really warm , almost hot water coming out. Thanks for any input.

Shouldn't get that hot. I've never had water come out of the tell-tale on my DF115 that was anything more than mildly warm.
May have a stuck thermostat or blockage in a water gallery. I'd definitely be checking the thermostat first and see how that goes.mif that doesn't improve things, a vinegar flush might help clear some blockages.Comment
