2011 DF140 and Faria Tach

Hi all,
I just bought a new Faria Tachometer with Suzuki System Monitor. I opened the box and read the instructions. I have a 2011 Suzuki 175 Four stroke. I'm confused by the Outboard application chart:





Will this work for my engine?

The way I read it, it will. I think it says that models through 2006 need the separate 2" 4 light monitor, for some reason. Yours being an '11, shouldn't be affected. At least, that's how I read it. I have an '08 model boat with a Faria tach, and an '07 DF150, and whether it needed it or not, it has the separate 2" 4 light monitor. The Faria tach on my boat has the hour meter built in, instead of the engine monitoring lights. Maybe my boat manufacturer could have opted for the tach with the system monitor, and a separate hour meter, I don't know.
