    Hi

I have a 2017 DF90 that runs very well and also normally starts easily but I occassionally have the expierienced that it wont start.
This usually happens after I have reached a fishing spot have turned the engine off , tilted it up half way and used my trolling motor.
The egine turns over but does not take, it usually taked 10 to 20 cranks and some fuel ball pumps before it starts.
It is totally irratic, at other times it will start normally all day.
    Any ideas????
    Thanks

could be one of a couple of things
the fuel bulb might be a starting point
is the fuel bulb real soft or flat when you pump it?
an indication the fuel tank venting (breathing) is obstructed
how is the fuel bulb mounted? should be vertical and make sure the fuel is flowing the correct direction
then the is a chance the fuel line connections are not tight. allowing air to be sucked into the fuel system then take a look at the inline fuel filter, that is just prior to the low pressure fuel pump
just to be sure nothing has plugged it up

        one other thing
some fuel tanks have a anti-siphon valve on the fitting on the tank — remove it. usually, I believe a ball bearing that can be punched out
