08 DF90 Oil Pressure Light On & Loses Power at 3000 RMP

My Df90 will idle and run great up to about 3000-4000 rpm then the oil pressure light blinks and and loses power it revs up and down. My mechanic can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

is there plenty of oil pressure and oil full on the dip stick , the drop to 3000 rpm is the fail safe working that is supposed to happen when there is a problem with oil or over heating .

that should be still under warranty
