  • 2004 DF140 Wire identification help

Recently purchase a 2004 DF140 for a re-power. Trying to get all of my wires identified and came across this clip on the engine. Its right behind the sterring linkage on the port/front. Its a 2 wire clip. White with yellow stripe and black. Can anyone identify what this should go to?

    Thanks.

Believe that's for a trim meter/gauge if so equipped. I don't have one so that wire is not connected and just secured inside the cowl.

Thanks. That's kind of the conclusion that I had come to as well.

My Seloc manual shows this for 04 140's and newer.
        Trim gauge.

That is exactly what the trim gauge connection on my 04 DF40 looks like. I do not have a trim gauge on the panel so it has been empty until tonight when I hooked up the motor to an HDS 7 Touch to get engine data - it now shows the trim on the HDS 7.
