What is the science as to where to position the tein engines? I mean distance between the engines.
i own a 40-foot center console boat with twin df300ap engines. I have trouble maneuvering the boat inside the marina. So i was thinking maybe if the distance between the engines was greater, moving both engine outward, it would give me more levarage while maneuvering?
If yes, is it a good idea to reposition the engines or does it risk damaging/weaken the transom?
