    I agree, it would have nothing to do with the IAC. My issue was gradient heat alarm. Stuck thermostat and impeller couldn’t keep up with the necessary volume of water now at idle speed. The motor went into safe mode to prevent overheat. The condition, since the alarms didn’t sound (possibly faulty system monitor or because I could “save” it by giving it throttle) seemed like an IAC issue (rough idle, about to stall). What I’m suggesting is without confirming an IAC is not functioning properly it’s hard to say it’s not another issue. Kind of like treating symptoms and not the cause. Just some thoughts.
