  • Do I need to "Reset" engine light?

I was having neutral safety switch issues on my 2006 DF200. Before resolving the problem, I did encounter a check engine light. After solving the issues, the light is gone. Does the computer hold the code in memory? Should I disconnect the battery to clear it like you would on a car? Everything seems fine, so I assume I am likely good to go, but I wanted to check here. Thanks in advance!

Suzuki codes clear from the gauge when the problem is rectified.

A history of alarms and fault codes is held in the ecu. Cannot be cleared. Helps with future diagnostics.

So you are good to go, nothing more needs to be done.
