2012 DF 175 and SMG4

I purchased a 2012 DF 175, and a SMG4, i connected my gps, and smg4 for to.the nmea network and turned on battery. My gps works fine as well as receives info from the engine but i can not get any power at all to the smg4. What am i missing? Do i need the mechanical adapter harness?

If you actually have purchased a SMG4 and are not confusing it with a C-10, then sorry, SMG4 is not compatible with engines prior to 2015, except some 2014 AP models.

Hi - Will add to this conversation. I have a 2014 DF250 and added the SMG4 gauge. It has a mechanical adapter cable and it works great. Tank 1 connection shows fuel level in tank. Check with Brown's Point. Knowledgeable crew there.
