Seems BRP doesn't believe Evinrude can make the unavoidable change to electric.

With the announcement regarding Evinrude, BRP explained that in the past year they bought 2 or 3 boat companies, and they're going to focus on selling boat packages rather than just engines. I expect the margins are better on complete boats. And they're working on "Project Ghost" - a new outboard engine concept that keeps the engine outside the transom, but below the deck of the boat:
