  • Analog Gauge Question

I have a 2006 DF200 and am wondering how/what it will take to add another tachometer onto my bay boat tower? I have the standard analog tach on my center console but would like to add one up top.

    Any help?

Since no one else has replied
    This is my thoughts
I would think you could wire in to the back of the connections on the current tack and just extend them up to your tower tach
Probably 3 wires Ground - night light coming off the NAV light and the signal wire from the engine
If you have a good ground on the tower that would be your grounding
If you have other gauges that have night lights run off the NAV switch use that
And that will leave just the signal wire off the back of the current tach
    Give that a try

      I agree with Art.

The only other option I can think of, is to install a digital gauge up there.

On my set up I'm running the tach monitor, the C10 color gauge, and my Hummingbird gives me some motor functions.
