OK, so I pulled the heads of my DF250 and this is what I found

Hi guys,

If you read my previous posts you know that I blew a HG on my 07 DF250. I pulled the powerhead and heads off yesterday (not that bad of a job). Water passages look very clean overall. Looks like the heads will need resurfacing, block will need to be decked. What do you think about this cylinder scoring? Some rust on the valves. How would you proceed? I'm considering bringing it to a shop for a rebuild, or buying a good used motor and parting.

From the pictures, it doesn't look that bad. Can you feel the scoring with your finger nail?
