New here ,and I would appreciate any info
Ive bought a boat with a df70 2000 2 months ago. The motor runs like a dream it’s got 300h on the clock. After I came back from a trip on the weekend I took the cover off and noticed oil (not a lot)sprayed in the cover on port side, after hours of looking I’ve noticed that the IAC Valve Silencer ( the small plastic can with the 2 ends) had a small cut on it right Where it connects with the tube. I spoke to the mechanic and he said that oil shouldn’t come out the IAC Valve silencer. He will come and inspect the issue but he’s 2 weeks away. Anyone had anything similar?
