Suzuki DF40a gearbox question

Hi,
I’m in the process of replacing the gearbox oil in my 2015 Suzuki DF40A and just wondering about the “flush” plug on the leg.

The 2x plugs with “oil” on it are for the gearbox oil but what is the extra “flush” plug for?

The flush plug allows a special fitting to be screwed in and hose attached to flush the engine.

Hardly anyone uses it because the flushing attachment up near the trim switch is so easy to use, or a set of muffs.
