  • C10/MFG Gauge Backlight Power?

    Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if the Suzuki C10/MFD gauge needs a 12v positive wire for backlighting, like when the nav lights are on? Or is it internally backlit all the time?

    Thanks,

    Pat

The C-10 does not have a seperate power wire.

It gets its operating power from its connection to the NMEA2000 network. Eg there is only one connector on the back of C-10, it is the NMEA2000 connector.

Plug it into the network, when you turn the network power on, the C-10 will start.

Most times the network power wires are connected to the engine gauge harness so that when the engine key is turned to the “on” position, the network is powered on. So the C-10 then comes on.

    Does this answer your question?
