  • Suzuki 140hp, Limit light, engine not starting!

    Hi guys!

I have a big problem with my engine, which I hope I can get help with. I have tried to test everything l can without results.

Engine is 140hp Suzuki from 2006. Everything went good last year. But now when l tried to turn the key, the lamp flashes and sounds. The engine can not be started. What can be wrong? Bad battery? Oilproblem?
    I hope is something simple.

    Thank you in advance

    /Fabian

When you turn the key- is anything else happening?
Is the engine turning over or just nothing?
Do you hear the high pressure pump when you turn the key?
Does the trim on the remote work?
How old is the battery and did you have on trickle charger?
A little more information may be helpful

      Hi Artdf175,

Nothing happens when l turn the key. Engine do not turning.
Trim works on the remote and the battery is new.

Can it be oil filter change or something?

      Thankyou

        No not the oil
        Electrical
If trim on remote is working - you have a power source
Sounds somewhat like an ignition key failure
Do you have a voltage meter?
Check the gray wire that comes off the ignition key
When you turn the key to 'on' -this is the power source to the ECM and should show 12V
The brown wire goes to the starter relay if you hove power in the gray wire- when you turn key to the start position this should read 12v

This wire feeds through the fuse box 30A if I remember correctly
        However would check all fuses
        Post back results

Is it in neutral? Safety lanyard in place?

            Hi,

            Arranged the first problem.

            1. A cord under the control was not inserted.
            2. A fuse in the engine was broken (see pictures).

Now the engine starts and goes, but after a while the engine oil turns white and the oil lamp starts to shine. Later the engine stops.
Tomorrow, a mechanic will look at the engine. Returns with statement.

            Thanks

where did you get that oil sample from, looks like ice cream. If it came from the dip stick I wouldn't run it for too long

Oops, water in your oil is no good. Please let it checked by a professional
