  • Essential spares kept onboard?

    I have a 2019 DF70A with 600 hours that I often take 100KM offshore.
What are a list of essential spares that you would take for that motor. If things went bad I do have the ability to call marine rescue but I also want to ability to fix likely issues and get home myself if possible.
    I’ve currently carry
    spare prop
    Fuses
    Fuel water separator filters
    low pressure fuel filter
    jump start pack
    cable ties
    gorilla tape
    hose clamps.
    spark plugs
    various tools.

    Thanks

    Thats pretty well it all.

The most likely issues are fuel contamination and battery failure, and you have them covered.

If you were real keen, a spare prop nut and split pins may be worth considering too.

Thanks for the replies. I do already have a spare prop nut and pins but a primer bulb and fuel hose barb is a good idea that I don’t have yet.
