Suzuki DF140Z counter roating conversion

Just bought a 2004 DF140Z counter rotation motor and swapped lower unit to a standard for a single motor set up. Had a Yamaha 704 binnacle control which seemed similar to Suzuki but noticed the throttle linkage on the motor side is push to advance and my control is pull. Im assuming there is a suzuki control that is push to advanve..right? ...hopefully, or ami missing something

So are you confirming that it requires a different control for an original counter rotation?
also, do you know if the original counter rotationg shift shaft rod is the same?

You were correct. I stopped by my local boneyard, hot lucky and found a push to engage control and all is good

Why would you need to change the rotation?
