What is a good aftermarket thermostat for a DF140A? Also what I read is it is a 50c thermostat

No idea but would like to know. I'm in the middle of changing thermostats on my two motors. Suzuki OEM t-stats don't impress me. After three years they are corroded badly. The one on my 9.9 doesn't open all the way, even at 200F.
Sometimes aftermarket is OEM with the OEM markings scratched off. Sometimes, they are redesigns. I sure would like something better than stock. When I had an I/O, I changed out a thermostat on my Volvo Penta after 10 years in salt water. It looked slightly tarnished but was clean and still functioned correctly. A better thermostat can be done.
