First Post here, looking for some advice
I've just bought a boat with a 2004 Johnzuki 115, and am looking at getting all the required parts together to do the next major service when it's due.
I noticed that there was a change to the Water Pump design in 2006, where a sleeve was introduced under the casing.
The base plate / panel was also changed, but uses the same base gasket.
And another change occured later involving the sleeve seals and case itself.
I assume this was done to improve impeller performance / life of the case ?
My question is whether I should order the sleeve & associated parts to upgrade to 2006+ spec ?
It appears that the Water Pump Kit 17400-92J00 contains the updated parts required to do so - is this correct ?
From what I can see, there is also a Water Pump Case Set available, which updates again, with revision to the case and sleeve seal.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
