Series single beep buzz with no warning light

    Chris - there are a number of situations that cause this warning
    With a low battery less than 9 V for 30 seconds check engine lamp comes on and you get a series of beeps
    As soon as the system is above 9V the warnings go away
    Usually a bad battery connection or an old worn out battery
    The 1-1 error before and after starting is the error code of a rectifier/regulator problem

    According to my book the single series alarm at .5 seconds is low battery warning. When the computer senses less than 9 volts it will sound the alarm. Also if you put your key in the ingnition and turn it (do not crank the motor you may get the code if it is another).
