suzuki dt30c rpm problem

I recently purchased a boat with a 1995 suzuki dt30c. Runs great at first. After about a hour of running off and on I start it up to go to the next spot and it won't turn up to full rpm's. I have not taken anything apart as I don't really know what I'm doing. But I can't afford to spend a ton of money on it either. If anyone has a idea what it could be I'd greatly appreciate your help.

You say after an hour of running?
Is the fuel clean, have you checked the filters?
Try loosening the gas cap, may be a blocked vent.
Or, maybe a pinhole leak in the gas line allowing air in.
