2001 115 hp won't idle

Overhauled the shift mechanism which was stuck. Needed to disconnect all cables, remove and in some cases replace some pivot points. Since then, engine dies at idle speed.

DF115? Have you tried running it with the cowling off?

Did you remove throttle cable from motor? You might not have put cable back in groove properly, or may have put bracket that secures cable in backwards?
check these things and let us know.
