  • EFI DT225 code reader?

Just wondering if anyone knows of a code scanner for the 2 stroke dt225?

What type of chart plotter do you have?
With a engine interface cable tied into the NMEA 2000 network will be able to produce a pretty complete read out

      dt225, 96?

I don't think these older 2 strokes are on the NEMA system Art.

I believe your monitor gauge is your best reader. Turn key on (not start), and see if any lights on monitor flash a sequence?
Post what you see back to us.

you are correct .. he didn't identify the model year.. all I saw was EFI

however, I had seen this link before..

Boat Projects: Beginners guide to Nmea 2000, Nmea 0183, and bridging

this was a very good article on the subject
at the bottom of the article is a product that works with NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 conversion

depending on his chart plotter, he still may be able to get engine data- just depends on how far he wants to go to get it..

        Art.......
