Howdy all. Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but here goes.
First of all i am a bit long in the tooth at 72 years this month. Have owned many outboards over the years mostly 2 strokes currently own 2 4 strokes the largest a 50 hp honda. This is not my first rodeo.

My question is this i will be purchasing a 15' modified vee jon boat 20' transom. It will be used mostly in the winter while waterfowl hunting.
I would like to power it with a new 20 hp suzuki 4 stroke.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.
Is there anything i should know about the warranty when buying from an internet seller?

I don't know if an internet seller warranty will be very good. Make sure you get entire package you need for motor, monitor gauges, tach, remote controls, etc. (newer motors have diagnostics related to those items). Also, electric start models have battery charging capabilities, where tiller mount, manual start models may not?

If internet seller is reputable, then your motor should be warrantied at any local Suzuki dealer, providing motor is installed/ setup properly.

Someone else might respond that has experience with internet sales, I don't.

Good luck. Post back if more questions.
