when i pull start my 1985 40hp suzuki it starts perfect when i try the electric start it not start as there is no spark at the plug?? help please

Well i'm guessing you turn you're key switch to on position to pull start. And when going to electric start there's no spark. It may be a bad ignition switch, not turning system on except in on position, but not in start. So it sounds like the switch itself is bad, or the wiring in the start position is not energizing the system to start.
