So, i have a 2018 90. I love the mototr, but i have 1 issue. Ive had a neutral pin replaced... i hope im saying that correctly. But, just yesterday i was out running the boat and the issue re appeared. When im in gear running and i ease back to come to neutral, sometimes it doesnt go into neutral. It was rev a little then settle down before i an eventually get it back into neutral... Can i loosen the throttle cable to resolve this maybe?? Any suggestions are welcome....

Have you checked the “trigger” assembly in the throttle control handle? The little button that allows you to shift between neutral, forward and reverse. Mine will shift a bit in its track and not allow me to shift. Plastic on plastic. -

No, I don't think that's what I'm referring to. What I'm referring to is on the remote control assembly there is a button under the handle that you need to depress to change from forward to neutral to reverse. Mine is red. The only other button on my remote control assembly in that area is the Power Tilt/Trim switch. To be clear, this remote control assembly is situated immediately to the right of the steering wheel and the captain's seat. This switch is a safety feature to prevent sudden motion should you accidentally lean on the throttle when in neutral.Originally posted by snookslayer25 View PostComment
