  • 85 DT55 Fuel Is Pouring Out Of The Bottom Carb.

My motor was running really bad and wasnt holding prime. I recently replaced all the hoses, clamps, primer ball, and fuel fittings frollm the motor to the tanks. We took it out and it idled and ran like it was bogging. I looked down and there was gas in the water. I pulled the cover off and fuel was flowing out of the bottom carb down into the case and out a hole in the bottom. After trying to start it a few times it sounded like it locked up/ flooded. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Sounds like float in bottom carb is possibly stuck open, or not adjusted properly, causing fuel to over flow out of carb.
Have you cleaned carbs, or adjusted floats? If you haven't cleaned carbs, this probably needs to be done.
How long has motor been sitting up, not running?

Post back on what you have done.
