Suzuki 1999 df70.....help...

Motor suzuki df70 runs and after running for 5 minutes or so.....gas starts leaking out of the air box (figuring the VST filled up and had no where else to go so it pushed it out the vent tube) also gas in oil. so did some research and figured the VST was to blame. so we took the VST off cleaned it out and flushed the oil twice. Went out an tested it....and it leaked gas again out of the airbox. So we were thinking the "float" may need to be replaced?....maybe? Anyone?

Need to replace the needle valve and seat. Just did the same fix on mine. It is in the VST.

Generally means float adjustment is too high, or float is hanging up, or needle valve is leaking (not shutting off fuel going into VST).
